Port of Los Angeles Offers Free Red Car Rides During Winter Holiday Season

Holiday season visitors at the Port of Los Angeles can take advantage of free Red Car rides from December 16, 2005, until January 2, 2006.
Red Car hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays through Mondays. There will be no operations on Christmas and New Year's day. Due to cruise ships being in town during the holidays, the Red Car will offer extra service days on Wednesday, December 21, Thursday, December 22, and on Tuesday, December 27.
Red Car passengers can transfer, free of charge, to the San Pedro Electric Trolley, which provides connections to downtown San Pedro and Cabrillo Beach areas.
