Network Solutions to Acquire MonsterCommerce, Leading Provider of E-Commerce Solutions

HERNDON, Va., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Network Solutions (http://www.networksolutions.com/), the leading provider of Web solutions and pioneer of domain name registration, announced today it has entered a definitive agreement to acquire MonsterCommerce (http://www.monstercommerce.com/), a leading provider of comprehensive e-commerce solutions. The acquisition will strengthen Network Solutions' product portfolio by adding a robust suite of e-commerce solutions that include: online marketing, Web design and search engine optimization services. The deal also represents a great opportunity for each company to promote the others' services to their collective customer base.
