CENTERVILLE — The Washington-Centerville Public Library is recalling Sony CDs that could lead to computer viruses when used on a personal computer.
Sony BMG Music installed software called “xcp” on some music CDs to prevent illegal copying. However, the software installs files that make the computer more vulnerable to hackers and viruses.
