Dec. 17--Cold weather in the Yuba foothills couldn't keep Santa Claus, nor dozens of children from Dobbins, Oregon House, Camptonville and other communities, away from the annual Yuba Feather Lions Club toy giveaway at the Agnes Deen Community Center in Dobbins.
Toys were purchased with funds raised by the Red Hat Ladies Society of Thousand Trails through the collection and recycling of cans.
Children in the community were given toys regardless of family income.
