With typical message profiles the unit will function for up to 10 years on its internal battery without the need for replacement or recharging, offering may benefits over traditional solutions. As part of the agreement we will be developing and enhancing the product range and have the option to manufacture the product under license."

Carmine T. Oliva, MicroTel's Chairman, President and CEO, stated: "This major new product range for CXR and MicroTel, strengthens our credentials in the cellular wireless data market and reinforces and enhances our strong position in industrial, transportation, utilities and other vertical markets where the benefits of these products will provide significant return on investment for our customer.
