Vidiom Systems Corporation Joins Advanced Digital Broadcast Group of Companies

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Vidiom Systems Corporation, a leading provider of technology solutions to the cable and consumer electronics industries, has signed an agreement pursuant to which it will be acquired by Advanced Digital Broadcast Holdings S.A. (http://www.adbholdings.com/), . This strategic move will provide Vidiom with the resources to take Vidiom's products and services to the next level.
Vidiom is a pioneer in interactive television (iTV) with unique expertise in software engineering, iTV application design, consulting, documentation, and training services. Vidiom's customers include many of the largest cable operators in the U.S., such as Comcast Cable and Time Warner Cable. Vidiom designed and developed the OCAP(TM) stack for the OCAP Development, LLC, a joint venture between Comcast Cable and Time Warner Cable and is licensed to distribute the software. Vidiom also provides a complete line of OCAP products including tools, testing solutions, training, and professional services that make up its OCAP ecosystem.
