A Very Noisy Airport International Traveler / Update: BRUSSELS

Brussels International Airport received more than 200,000 complaints this year about noise pollution, almost five times more than in 2004, according to a residents organization
. Flight paths from the airport, which is used by 15 million passengers annually, cross over Brussels and communities in neighboring Flanders. The 200,000th complaint to the airport's mediation center was made online by a resident Thursday. On Christmas Day alone more than 8,500 complaints were made.Source: International Herald Tribune
