Jan. 4–Radio station 89.5 FM, KTSY, was named Station of the Year in its market category at the Radio and Records Christian Radio Summit in Nashville in December.
KTSY is a contemporary Christian radio station that broadcasts throughout Southwest Idaho and Eastern Oregon from Caldwell.
General Manager Mike Agee received a plaque from Radio and Records Magazine CEO Eric Farber and Christian Music Editor Kevin Peterson.
“It’s a great honor to receive an award like this from your peers and to be recognized for service to your community and dedication to your craft,” Agee said. “To have it come from premier publication in the radio industry makes it that much more special.”
Radio and Records Magazine has a circulation of more than 8,000 radio stations and media outlets in the United States and internationally.
This is the third time KTSY has won a national award. The station was named the Gospel Music Association Station of the year in 2000 and 2002.
