Mobile Action (http://usa.mobileaction.com), a global leader in mobile management software, today announced availability of Handset Manager 9.2 to the North American Market. This latest product release has new features such as a Music Manager and Photo Wizard designed for the new generation of multimedia-enabled cellular handsets. Now Handset Manager users can use their PCs to upload MP3 files to their cellular phones, edit photos and transfer file images, and manage their contact database.

"Mobile Action offers both consumers and content providers solutions to deliver content to the new generation of multimedia cellular handsets," said Fitzwilliam Yang, Brand Manager of Mobile Action. "Our new Music Manager was adapted from our FoneJoy technology for content providers, and allows users to manage their mobile music. And with the new Photo Wizard and the Video Composer and MP3 Clipper already packaged in Handset Manager gives users complete control over their mobile multimedia content."

The new Music Manager in Handset Manager 9.2 was originally developed as an interface for FoneJoy, Mobile Action's multimedia data transfer technology with digital rights management OEMed to content providers which supports secure music delivery to cell phone users via a broadband connection. The Music Manager in Handset Manager 9.2 is PC software that allows users to move music from their PC to cellular phone, create playlists, and more, just as you would use iTunes to manage your iPod. Handset Manager also allows you to transfer video files, Java game and other multimedia files to your mobile phone.

The new Photo Wizard has 16 special effects, including color inversion, glowing edges, sepia, ocean reflection, grain, twirl, mosaic, wind, emboss, grayscale, black & white, dry brush, radial blur, ripple, find edges, and sphere. With Photo Wizard, users can easily stylize their personalized images for display as cell phone wallpaper or a photo gallery for their digital handset.

The new contact interface in Handset Manager 9.2 also allows users to more effectively manage their contact directory. They can now add more information, including home/office/mobile phone numbers, FAX, email address, additional notes or information (such as MSN messenger account), title and mailing address. And the Synchronization Manager already included in Handset Manager provides an interface with Microsoft Outlook. There is also a new installation wizard that makes Handset Manager easier to install in your PC.

The latest release, Handset Manager 9.2, is currently available for 26 of the most popular multimedia-ready handsets in North America, including handsets from Nokia, LG, Motorola, Sanyo, Samsung and Audiovox.
