Pragmatech Integrates Sales Effectiveness Products With EMC Documentum Platform, Becomes a Member of EMC Documentum Application Developer Program
Posted on: Monday, 9 January 2006, 12:00 CST
Pragmatech Software today announced it has joined the EMC Documentum Application Developer Program to bring to market an integrated solution that helps customers automate the process of developing and delivering personalized content. As a member, Pragmatech Software will receive specialized design consultation and guidance, along with access to dedicated Documentum technical resources to ensure that its sales effectiveness solutions integrate tightly with the EMC Documentum platform and, together, offer customers the highest quality solution.
Pragmatech will specifically leverage EMC Documentum Content Integration Services (ECIS) and Pragmatech's Info Express(TM) to automate information access. It will leverage EMC Documentum eRoom to enhance collaboration capabilities around specific sales processes. The integrated solution will present a powerful combination that speeds the creation of personalized customer-facing documents such as proposals, customer letters, presentations and investor communications. In addition, the integrated solution will improve the overall quality and accuracy of the information.
Despite spending millions of dollars generating company and product content, many companies today find their sales and customer-facing organizations spending hours recreating information to generate personalized customer communications. The result is hours of lost productivity, and documents and presentations that frequently contain out-of-date and inaccurate information.
"Companies that can personalize their responses to sales opportunities win more business," said Pragmatech CEO Brian Zanghi. "Personalization doesn't mean just doing a search-and-replace to change the prospect's name, it means assembling information that proves to the prospect or customer that you understand their unique needs and can meet them. Documentum users have been amassing that kind of information for years. Pragmatech applications give them the tools to automatically turn that information into revenue."
"EMC's platform strategy provides ISVs (independent software vendors) content software and enablement services to build world-class solutions that benefit our mutual customers," said Barry Ruditsky, vice president of business development, EMC Software Group. "Our new relationship with Pragmatech provides our joint customers with best-of-breed sales effectiveness solutions."
The EMC Documentum Application Developer Program helps ISVs, value-added software providers (VSPs) and system integrators (SIs) target, design, develop and go to market with successful offerings based on the EMC Documentum platform. As a member, partners can submit their offering to be considered for "Designed for Documentum" accreditation, which ensures their offering has met all requirements to be certified on the Documentum platform.
