SkinIt Inc. Announces Personalization Partnership Platform for T-Mobile Customers
Posted on: Tuesday, 10 January 2006, 09:00 CST
SkinIt Inc., a leading international provider of consumer electronic personalization technology, today announces a Personalization Partnership Platform (SP3) with T-Mobile USA, Inc., one of the fastest-growing nationwide wireless service providers.
T-Mobile customers who want a convenient way to personalize the outside casing of their wireless device can now access SkinIt's SP3 technology at www.t-mobileskins.com, or through the Accessories page for participating devices on www.t-mobile.com. SkinIt enables T-Mobile customers to upload their own images - or select from thousands of skin designs - to be printed and cut to fit for select T-Mobile devices.
SkinIt is the first company to provide on-demand, custom personalization to the outside casing of more than 500 mobile electronic devices. The SkinIt skin is made from a professional-grade vinyl, printed one at a time through a six-color process to ensure detailed and premium images. The vinyl skin is then coated with a scratchproof finish and custom cut, which creates a perfect fit for each device to last for a long time. Each SkinIt skin is easy to apply and has a protective element, providing devices another layer of safety from scratches and other damage. The skin can be easily removed, allowing users to personalize their T-Mobile devices as often as they choose.
"We are so excited to announce this new partnership with T-Mobile," says Tom Stemple, Co-Founder of SkinIt Inc. "Our product will now allow T-Mobile customers to further personalize their mobile device."
Currently, T-Mobile customers can skin their T-Mobile(R) Sidekick(R) II for $12.99, with an additional $5 for personal uploaded images. SkinIt skins for additional T-Mobile devices are scheduled to be launched in the coming weeks. Skins are shipped worldwide direct to the consumer and usually arrive within 3-5 business days. T-Mobile is not affiliated with SkinIt Inc.
