Red Rock Software Showcases DeltaGraph Tools for Improving Workflow Productivity and Providing Publication Quality Charts Using Mac OS X 'Tiger'

Posted on: Tuesday, 10 January 2006, 09:00 CST

Red Rock Software today announced it will showcase new tools for DeltaGraph 5.6 Mac -- the company's award-winning data analysis, charting and graphing software -- at the 2006 Macworld Conference and Expo in San Francisco. The new tools take advantage of technologies found in Mac OS X v.10.4 ("Tiger"), including Tiger's Spotlight and Automator features.

"Tiger has given Mac users hundreds of breakthrough features, and in turn allowed Macintosh developers like us to provide innovative solutions to business problems," said Craig Hopson, CEO of Red Rock Software. "We're thrilled to offer best-in-class support for Tiger features within DeltaGraph. The combination of Apple's technology and the powerful features of DeltaGraph will enable our customers to easily manage the collection, analysis, creation and publication of their data."

Red Rock Software will be showcasing "DGPlot," an Automator Action used to create multiple, repetitive charts such as those used in reports, experiments and analysis. In addition, Red Rock Software will demonstrate how using the Spotlight plug-in for DeltaGraph can help users manage a large collection of charts. The plug-in provides searches using key words in charts, including a given chart's title, legend, X or Y Axis labels and more. A CD of productivity tutorials will be available at the Red Rock Software booth.

Macworld attendees are invited to visit the Red Rock Software booth located in the Special Interest Pavilion, Section 133, on Jan. 9-13, 2006 for a demonstration. A $100 discount on any DeltaGraph purchase will also be available at the show.
