Hand Held Products(TM) Partners With RMS-Touch; Image Kiosk(TM)8560 Enhanced With RMS-Kiosk(TM) Software to Debut at National Retail Federation (NRF) Conference; Hand Held Products Booth #1645 and in the X06 Marketplace

Hand Held Products, Inc., a leader in image-based data collection systems for the retail industry, and RMS-Touch, a provider of self-service kiosk applications, announced today a partnership enabling the deployment of the RMS-Kiosk(TM) suite of customer self-service applications onto Hand Held Products' Image Kiosk(TM) 8560.

The partnership will allow retailers using the Image Kiosk 8560 to offer a robust set of functionalities, including price checking, item locator, loyalty card administration and a deli pre-ordering system. The RMS-Kiosk application can estimate wait time and even send SMS messages to customers' cell phones when their orders are ready.
