Validian Volume License Purchased By Secure Enabled Networks for Deployment in Telecommunications and Health Care Industries

OTTAWA, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Validian Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: VLDI) , a leader in the development of innovative application-level security software, today announced that Secure Enabled Networks ("S.E. Networks"), a provider of network security services and products, has purchased a Validian Volume License with an ASP privilege for all of Validian's products, including Validian ASI and Validian ASI components, as well as complete Validian ASI secured solutions, for a price exceeding $150,000.

In addition to deploying Validian's products internally, S.E. Networks will resell Validian products to a regional telecommunications company that provides high speed Internet services and content to small and medium size businesses, as well as the residential market in the United States and Canada. S.E. Networks also will resell Validian products to a medical group with approximately 20 clinics in North America. The clinics will use ASI products to secure the access to, and transmission of, Protected Health Information (PHI), as required by HIPAA and by PIPEDA, the equivalent Canadian legislation.
