Jan. 17--TOKYO -- NEC Corp. said Tuesday it will begin selling a newly developed system in June that enables hospitals to electronically share patients' medical records.
With the system, hospitals will be able to share diagnosis, treatment and other information of patients and thus prevent the repetition of checkups, NEC said.
A system for a hospital with some 300 beds will be priced at about 250 million yen. NEC hopes to sell 250 systems in the first three years.
