IPtimize Provides VoIP Solution for PG Exhibits
Posted on: Wednesday, 25 January 2006, 12:00 CST
IPtimize, Inc. (Pink Sheets:IPZE), a Managed VoIP (Voice-over-IP) Solutions Provider, said today PG Exhibits has successfully deployed IPtimize's Voice Pilot(SM) VoIP telephone service.
With Voice Pilot service, a business customer does not have to purchase and maintain an on-site telephone switch (premises-based PBX). Instead, a software-driven "switch," hosted on the IPtimize service platform, offers local and long-distance calling, four-digit group calling, and many advanced calling features. Voice Pilot uses a client's existing Internet connection to pull together employees into a single, centralized "virtual PBX" with a robust, low-cost voice solution.
"We are growing very fast and traditional telephone systems did not provide the flexibility we needed," said PG Exhibits President Jim McGrath. "The IPtimize Voice Pilot(SM) solution required a minimal capital investment, a convenient financing option, and can grow with our needs. We were able to reduce our annual communications operating expenses by 25 percent with this solution, and eliminate the capital purchase of a new telephone system, which would have cost approximately $12,000.
"In addition, we really like some of the Voice Pilot(SM) benefits and features, including free long-distance calls, four-digit dialing with our remote locations, voice mails on our computers and calls that 'follow us' if we're not in the office, like to our cell phones. In the professional B2B marketing business, it's critical for us to stay in constant contact with our customers and suppliers."
McGrath said he plans to add additional Voice Pilot(SM) seats as the business expands.
IPtimize President Clint Wilson said the company's managed VoIP service is designed to lower costs, improve productivity, simplify administration and mitigate technology risks on behalf of businesses. "We seek to be the provider-of-choice of VoIP services for businesses," Wilson said. "Voice Pilot(SM) offers reliable communications services and features that have not been provided in a managed services environment and at affordable prices for businesses. Our hosted VoIP is a proven alternative to traditional phone service and premise-based telephone systems."
"We're taking a 'try-it-you'll-like-it' approach where customers have a very low cost of entry and no technology or operating risks with Voice Pilot(SM). We're confident clients such as PG Exhibits will be impressed by the high-quality and easy-to-use productivity features," added Wilson.
