Netopia Racks Up Industry Awards for Improving Triple Play Delivery Over Broadband

Netopia, Inc. (OTCBB:NTPA), a market leader in broadband gateways and service delivery software, today announced it has won three industry awards for its VGx virtual gateway technology and the new Netopia 2200 series of ADSL2+ gateways. Growth consulting firm Frost & Sullivan honored Netopia's VGx technology, which ensures triple play Quality of Service (QoS), as the 2006 Gateway Telecommunications Technology Innovation of the Year. In addition, the Netopia 2247NWG-VGx ADSL2+ Wi-Fi gateway won recognition from Portable Computing Magazine as one of the Best Products of 2005, and won a 2005 Excellence Award from Service Provider Weekly magazine.
