Web content management (WCM) software firm, Group EM3, Inc., is seeking a strategic partner.
For the past 8 years, the company has created and advanced a suite of software products for medium to large organizations to manage multiple complex Web sites. The software allows non-technical users to update personalized, secure Web content without IT resources. The company has generated more than $7 million in revenue, is profitable, and has a loyal and high-profile customer base.
"We are seeking a strategic partner with a national sales force to help us become a tier one player - and we can provide them with hundreds of satisfied users and immediate high-margin software licensing and recurring maintenance revenue," says founder Steve Dalal.
EM3 attributes its success to its focus on customer-driven productization: providing a standard set of the most advanced and easy-to-use Web site management features available out-of-box. The Java and XML-based software deploys faster than anything similar in the industry. The company hopes to leverage its success to gain market share in the multi-billion dollar and growing WCM market.
"Unlike competing products which are expensive and complex to configure and customize, our product's generic installation and easy configuration allows for delivery through an ASP model or as part of a pre-configured hardware sale," says Dalal.
A strategic partner would be an enterprise software firm, application service provider or network appliance manufacturer with an established sales channel or sales force.
