Unica Corporation Named to Forbes Midas List of High-Growth Profitable Companies

Posted on: Thursday, 2 February 2006, 12:00 CST

Unica Corporation (Nasdaq:UNCA), a global provider of Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM) solutions, today announced that the company has been named to the prestigious Forbes Midas List of the 25 Fastest Growing Technology Companies based on annual revenue growth and profitability. Unica joins other high-growth industry leaders such as Ebay, Genentech and Google on the latest list.

The full list of Forbes Midas List companies can be viewed via http://www.forbes.com/free_forbes/2006/0213/068.html (requires registration).

Unica credits its success to a strategic approach to EMM and the development of innovative solutions that have resulted in significant improvements in its customers' ability to plan, execute and measure effective cross-channel marketing.

Unica's Affinium(R) software addresses the principle functions of EMM, including marketing and customer analytics, demand generation and marketing resource management.

"We have achieved growth by focusing on our clients' growth and success. This acknowledgement from Forbes is a further testament to our employees, customer-focused vision and value of our solutions," said Yuchun Lee, Unica's co-founder and CEO.

To compile the Midas List, Forbes searched through thousands of publicly traded U.S. technology stocks and looked for organizations with outstanding annualized revenue growth. Firms must be profitable, with revenues of at least $25 million and sales growth of 10 percent or better for the last five years.
