CH2M HILL Names Robert P. Jurasin Vice President and Client Service/Operations Manager for the Firm's Northeast Transportation Business Group

NEW YORK, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- CH2M HILL, a global full-service engineering, construction, and operations firm based in Denver, Colo., has named Robert Jurasin vice president, client service and operations manager for the firm's Northeast Transportation Business Group.
Operating out of the firm's New Jersey, Connecticut and new Manhattan offices, Jurasin will be responsible for managing initiatives in transportation planning; traffic and site engineering; highway engineering design; parking facilities demand and management. In addition, Jurasin will oversee transportation-related business development, technical oversight of all surface transportation projects and client relations in the Northeast states and on a national level.
Since joining CH2M HILL last year, Mr. Jurasin has been involved in several major regional transportation projects including highway planning, traffic engineering, multi-modal transportation centers, parking demand and management, site planning for land development, value engineering and transportation research representing both the public and private sectors.
Prior to CH2M HILL, Mr. Jurasin held several positions over a thirty year period with Wilbur Smith Associates, a transportation and infrastructure consulting firm. As regional vice president/senior vice president, he was responsible for the overall management of the firm's transportation planning, traffic engineering and highway/bridge design in its Northeast region.
Mr. Jurasin serves on the Board of Directors of several professional organizations, has authored many technical papers, contributed to several national Manual/Guidelines, and is active in ACEC, ITE, IPI and TRB. He holds a BS in civil engineering from Rutgers University.
