Iran's First Cargo Transportation Terminal Becomes Operational in Ahvaz

According to "Tehran Times", Iran's first specialized cargo transportation terminal came on stream in Ahvaz. The cargo transportation terminal, also called the nation's first cargo transportation township, encompasses 20 hectares of land in the vicinity of Ahvaz, the capital city of the oil-rich southern province of Khuzestan, it is planned to accommodate 64 cargo transportation companies
. First in its kind, the terminal enjoys the basic infrastructures such as water, sewage and gas networks, modern communication equipments as well as restaurant, taxi service, recreation, insurance and bank facilities required by the drivers of the vehicles who are to temporarily reside in the huge terminal.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
