National Cyber Security Alliance Executive Director to Speak at the First Anti-Spyware Coalition Public Workshop

WHAT: Ron Teixeira, executive director of the National Cyber Security Alliance, the central clearinghouse for cyber security awareness and education for home users, small businesses, and the education community, will be a featured panelist in the "Effective Outreach Campaigns" panel discussion at the Anti-Spyware Coalition's first public workshop. This panel discussion will focus on what methods have worked best to educate the public about spyware and what is needed to design future outreach and lessen the impact of spyware. Teixeira also will moderate the panel discussion titled, "Corporate Policies for Spyware Control." This first-ever public workshop hosted by the Anti-Spyware Coalition will feature federal regulators, top state technology and law enforcement officials, as well as representatives from public interest groups and the nation's largest Internet companies.
