SHERMAN OAKS, Calif., Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Notification Technologies, Inc., the leader in school to parent communications, today announced the reorganization of the company as "The NTI Group." This change reflects the company's expansion beyond the K-12 market where it has achieved tremendous success since the introduction of its first product, Connect-ED(R).
"With the Connect-ED(R) service, we've built an effective 21st century communications platform that successfully delivers millions of messages a month for our clients in kindergarten through 12th grade education," said Robin D. Richards, Chairman and CEO of The NTI Group. "With the Connect-ED(R) service running at more than 5,000 sites across the country, it's time to bring this expertise to other markets and enhancing our corporate structure is the first step in that direction."
To best serve clients in its current and new markets, The NTI Group has appointed three new officers:
-- Thomas Motter, president, Connect-ED(R), will oversee the 5,000 sites currently using the Connect-ED(R) service while continuing to grow the business into new regions across the country -- Joe Nelson, president, Connect-CTY(TM), will expand the company's business into municipalities, bringing to city officials the company's proven ability to deliver important, time-sensitive information that is tested day-in and day-out by schools and districts across the nation who, last year, sent over 54 million time-based notifications -- Billy Pitts, president, Government Affairs, will work with federal and state organizations using the Connect-GOV(TM) and Connect-MIL(TM) services to extend the benefits of reliable time-based notification systems in the sphere of public safety, assisting credible spokespeople to inform and update staff and constituents during time-sensitive situations using the power of their own voices."As always, service will remain our core strength and we have dedicated customized systems to every vertical that we serve. Additionally, each vertical is supported by Client Care representatives specially trained to their division's needs and areas of focus," said Richards.
The NTI Group, originally known as PACE (The Partnership for Academic and Community Excellence), has been delivering time-based notifications as a hosted application service provider (ASP) since early 2001. Notification Technologies, Inc. was formed when it acquired PACE in early 2004 to expand the capabilities of its existing product and renamed the service Connect-ED(R). The Connect-ED(R) service will continue to be available to schools and districts across the country as The NTI Group expands into new markets.
The NTI Group is a privately held company that provides comprehensive communication systems designed specifically for local, regional, state, and federal government entities. The NTI Connect family of services enables rapid dissemination of critical information via voice and text devices using its premier mass notification engine designed to allow users to quickly and easily record and send time-based notifications to thousands of people in minutes using just a telephone. The NTI Group makes and distributes Connect-ED(R), Connect-CTY(TM), Connect-Gov(TM), and Connect-MIL(TM), advanced Web-based systems, designed specifically for each market, allowing users to target specific groups and/or geographic regions within their database(s) and engage recipients in two-way communication by asking them to respond to questions via their telephone keypads. Messages can be sent to recipients' landlines, cell phones, PDAs/text-based devices, and e-mail accounts.
