BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 13, 2003--WorkWise(R), a division of Timeline Inc. (OTCBB:TMLN), announced today a new OEM partnership with Transition/1 Management Accounting Systems, Inc. (T/1MAS). Under the terms of the OEM agreement, T/1MAS will incorporate the WorkWise technology into their existing eProcessManager(R) application for distribution to T/1MAS customers.
"We anticipate that nearly every future customer installation of eProcessManager will include the WorkWise technology, providing even further efficiencies in process management. The combined solution is expected to be ready for shipment almost immediately," said Kent Busse, President of T/1MAS. "In business, it's about executing on and achieving your goals and objectives. With the addition of eProcessMonitor(TM), using WorkWise technology, all levels of management can receive timely and accurate ePM Scorecard results to assure processes are in alignment with the corporate goals and objectives."
"We are enthusiastic about this new relationship with T/1MAS and fully expect to win multiple new customers for WorkWise on a quarterly basis. We also anticipate that many of these customers will likely be larger, higher profile organizations," said Mike Arthur Director of Sales for WorkWise. "eProcess Manager is the perfect solution for organizations to define their goals, and map, optimize and continually improve their business processes."
Significant benefits in adding the WorkWise solutions to eProcessManager include improving the efficiency and accuracy of tracking critical business metrics and the real-time notification of process issues that may occur. Many organizations have several manual and redundant systems focused on what has happened. Organizations now have the opportunity to move from a reactive management orientation to a proactive mode while reducing the cost of their management system. eProcessMonitor plays a key role in a company's ability to monitor the compliance of internal controls within business processes. "With this quality of information, companies can more easily comply with the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act."
Effective October 21, 2003, T1/MAS will offer the eProcessManager Suite comprised of the modules eProcessManager, ePerformanceManager(TM) and eProcessMonitor (incorporating the WorkWise technology).
-- eProcessManager is the core of the system and allows an
organization to assimilate the values, goals, initiatives and
key processes in a self-service format that incorporates Visio
flow charts.
-- ePerformanceManager is the module the allows users to define
the Key Performance Indicators that are aligned with the
organization strategy, processes, managers, people and
functional areas of the organization with roll up into an ePM
Scorecard.
-- eProcessMonitor(TM) will automate the data collection of
performance data and support proactive business management by
leveraging the WorkWise technology.
WorkWise develops software applications for business activity monitoring, and streamlining key business processes to achieve greater workplace efficiency. This is generally referred to as process automation, the key element in workflow technologies. The company's Business Alerts(TM) solution automates and synchronizes notification messages pertaining to specific events and business processes. Its flagship product, Data Agent Server, provides a platform for monitoring business activity and performing data integration work, as well as automating and managing automated business processes.
T/1MAS is the developer of the eProcessManager business process management solution. eProcessManager enables organizations to capture all the information about their business processes, monitor and restructure those processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. The WorkWise technology adds considerable improvements in the ability of eProcessManager to pull data from several disparate data sources, monitor business process data for values, exceptions, and changes and then update key performance indicators, and respond accordingly. Additionally, the WorkWise technology will deliver intelligent notifications about changing business conditions enabling the recipient to make proactive decisions.
