Trolltech Participates in Integrated Multimedia Solution for Linux at 3GSM; Qtopia Software Part of the Multi-Technology Solution

Trolltech(R), a leading provider of technologies that makes advanced software faster to build and easier to use, announced today that Qtopia is the application development framework for the Integrated Multimedia Solution for Linux being developed with Intel Corporation and others.
The Linux-based integrated solution highlights leading edge technologies for multimedia on mobile phone devices. Among the included technologies are products from Trolltech, Opera Software, RealNetworks, Audistry LLC and Philips Software. By developing an integrated solution, mobile phone design manufacturers (OEMs/ODMs) and operators can be assured of a complete integrated and optimized solution.
The Qtopia software on the next generation Intel(R) XScale(R) application processor serves as a ready-to-use application development platform and includes plug-ins and APIs for additional application integration.
