AVST Launches CallXpress(R) Telephony Server Product Line

Applied Voice & Speech Technologies Inc. (AVST) today announced the AVST telephony server product line, a new line of telephony servers that offer a bundled, all-in-one voice and data communications platform for convenience, high performance and scalability. The new telephony server product line features the CallXpress T-2000, CallXpress I-4000 and the CallXpress I-6000, which serve both small-to-medium businesses (SMB) and enterprise-size deployments of CallXpress, the company's flagship unified communications technology.

The CallXpress T-2000 telephony server offers a cost-effective communications solution for small-to-medium businesses. The bundled package includes the CallXpress unified communications application, a Dialogic voice card or VOIP integration, server, and Microsoft(R) Windows(R) operating system. CallXpress T-2000 is configured as an entry-level server with four voice mail ports and offers expansion capabilities of up to 48 ports supporting approximately 2,500 users. Delivering next-generation performance with superior quality and reliability in a single-processor server, the product is ideal for businesses that need a dependable, flexible and affordable solution.

The CallXpress I-4000 and the CallXpress I-6000 telephony servers are powerful, high-performance servers ideal for medium-to-large enterprises. The CallXpress I-4000 and the CallXpress I-6000 include all features and capabilities of the CallXpress T-2000 plus dual Xeon processors, preconfigured RAID1, and redundant hot swap power supplies and cooling fans. With the CallXpress I-4000 supporting up to 120 ports with 10,000 users, and the CallXpress I-6000 supporting up to 192 ports with 20,000 users, both servers deliver the highest levels of scalability, reliability and performance. Available in a rack mount form factor, both servers enable IT managers to save space by stacking the servers and using a single mouse, monitor and keyboard.
