CipherTrust Showcases Complete Messaging Security Ecosystem at RSA 2006

CipherTrust, Inc., the global market leader in messaging security, today announced a range of activities at RSA 2006, scheduled for February 13-17 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif. With executive presentations, booth demonstrations, and newly announced partnerships, CipherTrust (RSA booth 1610) will highlight the state of the messaging security market, including insight into how solutions need to expand beyond e-mail to the entire ecosystem of messaging security.

Two CipherTrust experts are involved in technical discussions. CipherTrust Chief Technology Officer Dr. Paul Judge will lead a panel discussion on the state of e-mail authentication, a concept many believe could eliminate phishing attacks. His panel, which is scheduled for February 15 at 2 p.m. Pacific, includes peers from Microsoft, Cisco and PGP. In 2004, CipherTrust was the first e-mail security vendor to include e-mail authentication registration checks as part of its process for identifying unwanted e-mail messages.

CipherTrust Research Scientist Dmitri Alperovitch is participating in a discussion on phishing also on February 15 at 2 p.m. Pacific. Alperovitch has gathered significant intelligence on how phishing attacks are conducted, based on enterprise reputation data collected from TrustedSource(TM), CipherTrust's behavior-based sender reputation system. CipherTrust recently announced a new service, CipherTrust RADAR(TM), used by companies to peer into the reputation data, to be alerted when phishing attacks are in progress, and to see how their corporate IT resources are affected by the attacks.
