Axalto Selected By T-Mobile Slovensko to Roll Out Advanced Corporate Services

T-Mobile Slovensko launch VIP SIM card by Axalto to promote advanced applications to their enterprise customers

3GSM World Congress, Barcelona, February 14, 2006 - Axalto (Euronext: NL0000400653 - AXL), the world's leader in microprocessor cards, today announced it is providing T-Mobile Slovensko, a leading mobile operator in the Slovak Republic, with a high-capacity platform - VIP SIM card - hosting five innovative applications from its SIM Enterprise corporate portfolio. The Axalto package allows T-Mobile Slovensko to target services to the corporate segment by making business life smoother and simpler. Applications include secure messaging, personal information management, extended phonebook, infotainment and automatic handset configuration services.

As part of its strategy to meet corporate users' needs for advanced services, T-Mobile Slovensko is deploying a bundle of attractive business-oriented applications to their VIP customers, in recognition of their loyalty. By providing T-Mobile Slovensko with the ideal platform to host premium quality services, Axalto is committed to supporting them in strengthening their relationships with their corporate clients and differentiating themselves in the market.

With VIP SIM card, T-Mobile Slovensko subscribers primarily benefit from the enhanced phonebook feature that allows storage of multiple numbers and other details for up to 400 contacts. T-Mobile Slovensko customers can also transfer text messages into private folders and thus store sensitive data received from their colleagues or customers. Additionally, the Axalto package includes a secure and convenient application that stores and manages all secret codes through one master password, making it simpler for employees to organize their personal information. This first deployment could be extended to include additional SIM-based services such as phonebook backup and device management.
