Turin Olympics sold 775,000 tickets
TURIN, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Turin Winter Olympics organizers ( TOROC) said on Monday that they have sold 775,000 tickets out of 1 million and already reached the ticketing revenue target of euro64 million.
TOROC media relations chief Giuseppe Gattino told a press conference Monday morning that on Sunday alone 9,000 tickets were sold.
Gattino added that all seats for the men's downhill had been snapped up, 94 percent of cross country tickets and 84 percent for short track speedskating were sold.
