2006 Software Industry Awards Finalists Announced By Software Council of Southern California

TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Software Council of Southern California today announced the finalists for the 2006 Software Industry Awards. The awards, which will be presented at a gala dinner event on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, honor individuals and companies that have made extraordinary contributions to the growth of Southern California as a center for technological innovation.

"The quality of finalists is impressive and we are pleased that such dynamic companies continue to seek out our awards program year after year," said Jon Kraft, Software Council chairman of the board. "The finalists exemplify the innovative spirit and high caliber technology acumen that is so prevalent in this region."

A total of seventeen companies have been selected as finalists in the following six awards categories:
