Initial Operations of Busan Port in South Korea By Dubai Ports Company

A-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported in early January 2006 on the beginning of operations of the Busan Port in South Korea by the Dubai International Ports Company
. This Company is a government company which will operate this port until 2055, in three stages. The paper estimated that the port will be able to handle about 5.5 million containers annually by the end of its development period.Source: Info-Prod Research (Middle East)
