CommScope Announces New Pricing for Enterprise Products

HICKORY, N.C., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CommScope, Inc. announced today new pricing for enterprise cable products due to escalating material costs. Prices for essentially all Enterprise/Local Area Network products will be increased approximately 3 percent to 7 percent, with implementation beginning February 10, 2004.
"While we engage in vigorous cost management, many costs continue to rise," said Randall W. Crenshaw, CommScope Executive Vice President and General Manager, Network Products Group. "Prices for copper rod and polymers have increased substantially over the past 12 months.
