Sarajevo, 22 February: Director General of the Communications Regulatory Agency on Wednesday [22 February] issued several decisions, pursuant to his mandate.
Due to the breach of provision of Article 7.3 of the General Conditions of the Licence for Terrestrial Broadcast of Radio and Television Programmes, fines were issued to the following broadcasters: Radio Oscar C - 2,000 KM [convertible marks], Radio Grude Best - 2,000 KM, Radio Doboj - 1,000 KM, Radio Studio D - 1,000 KM, Radio Trebinje - 1,000 KM, Radio Srebrenik - 1,000 KM, while Radio Bobar has breached the provisions of Article 15.4, Article 8.2.3(e) and Article 7.3 of the General Conditions of the Licence for Terrestrial Broadcasting of Radio and Television Programmes, for which it was issued a fine in the amount of 1,000 KM.
Due to the breach of Article 7.3 of the General Conditions of the Licence for Terrestrial Broadcasting of Radio and Television Programmes, the following broadcasters were issued a written warning: Radio Korona, Radio Zos, Radio Stari Grad, Radio postaja Mostar, Radio Dobre Vibracije, Radio Federacije, Radio Slon i BH Radio One.
After conducting measurements of the radio frequency spectrum, the agency found certain technical irregularities applying to the above-mentioned broadcasters, which resulted in the usage of a wider range of spectrum by those broadcasters than allocated in their licences issued by the agency.
The Agency avails itself of this opportunity to remind all broadcasters possessing a licence issued by the agency that they are obliged to act in accordance with the agency's rules and regulations, including the rights and obligations prescribed in general and specific conditions of the licence.
