OnFiber Provides Metro Ethernet Services for MegaPath Networks

OnFiber Communications, a leading provider of metro optical solutions, announced today that it is providing MegaPath Networks Inc., a leading provider of secure access and managed network solutions, with metro optical Ethernet services to extend its network. The agreement provides MegaPath with improved ability to manage bandwidth and enhance network performance at key aggregation points in a manner that is cost efficient, scalable, and easy to administer.

Extending MegaPath's network capabilities, the OnFiber Ethernet service is a dedicated solution for interconnecting traffic aggregation points within the Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington DC metropolitan areas. Based on standard Ethernet interfaces and protocols, the metro Ethernet service is cost effective for MegaPath. The solution is fully redundant and provides MegaPath with a reliable network that can quickly be adjusted to accommodate service speeds up to a full Gigabit per second.
