ALLTEL Reaches Agreement with CWA in Pennsylvania

KITTANNING, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 20, 2003–ALLTEL (NYSE:AT) today announced it has reached agreement on a new three-year contract with about 130 employees represented by the Communications Workers of America in western Pennsylvania.

The contract covers CWA members in Export, Kittanning, Murrysville, Lansford, Muncy, Ridgway and Brookville. The agreement will be put up for ratification by the union membership in the next 30 days.
