iDirect Technologies Selected By Globecomm Systems for Broadband Over Satellite Solution in the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region

HERNDON, Va., March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- iDirect Technologies (iDirect), a division of Vision Technologies Systems Inc., announced today that Globecomm Systems Inc. will deploy an iDirect platform to support their customers in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets.

The initial deployment will include an iDirect 5IF hub allowing Globecomm Systems to launch multiple shared networks throughout the EMEA region -- supporting thousands of remote sites. iDirect designs, develops and markets the fastest, most reliable bi-directional satellite-based broadband IP solutions. This partnership with iDirect will help Globecomm Systems meet the demand for broadband IP access, as well as the growing market for other IP centric applications traditionally supported by terrestrial networks.
