Logidex Integration Further Enables Organizations Using the IBM Software Development Platform to Benefit from the Industry's Leading SOA Governance Solution
LogicLibrary(R), the leader in SOA governance and software reuse, today announced that the company's AnySource Asset Adapter has received IBM's "Ready for IBM Rational software" validation for IBM Rational(R) ClearCase(R) and IBM Rational(R) ClearQuest(R) integration. This validation demonstrates that the adapter, which is an extension to LogicLibrary's flagship Logidex product, integrates according to IBM specifications, with Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest and complements the existing Logidex plug-in with key products in the IBM Software Development Platform, including IBM Rational Application Developer, IBM Rational Software Architect and IBM Rational Software Modeler.
Logidex is a design-time integrated registry/repository with configurable governance policies that make it possible for organizations to actively track and manage services from design through deployment. Logidex's unique combination of a repository for services production, a registry for services and artifact consumption, and automated UDDI and ESB publication options provides governance capabilities for the entire SOA lifecycle.
IBM Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest deliver a single point of control for enterprise change management. IBM Rational ClearCase provides life cycle management with all the capabilities needed to create, update, build, deliver, reuse and maintain business-critical software assets. Meanwhile, the flexible workflow management and change tracking in IBM Rational ClearQuest enables better insight, predictability and control of the entire software development process.
"LogicLibrary believes that SOA governance must encompass the entire lifecycle, from architecture through design and development," said Brent Carlson, vice president of technology and co-founder of LogicLibrary. "Logidex makes it possible for organizations to actively manage services and enforce policies throughout the lifecycle. The combination of the IBM Rational Application Development Platform and LogicLibrary helps customers ensure that services are properly aligned with the organizations' business and technical objectives. Making sure that IT properly supports business is a prerequisite to the long-term success of SOAs."
