Reports: AT&T makes deal to buy BellSouth
AT&T Inc. is set to acquire BellSouth Corp. for around $67 billion, according to media reports Sunday.
The companies were expected to announce the terms of the deal as soon as today, according to an article in The New York Times and on the Web sites of The Wall Street Journal, Atlanta Journal- Constitution and USA Today.
