Rim Semiconductor Company (OTCBB:RSMI), an emerging provider of semiconductors to the broadband telecommunications industry, today announced its 2006 Marketing Program. The market for IPTV networks in the Asia-Pacific region, which are powered by semiconductors such as the Company’s Embarq product, is expected to grow nearly 80 percent every year to US$4.2 billion between now and 2010, according to Instat.

Rim Semi intends to begin hosting an invitation-only product demonstration suite to display its products’ anticipated strengths and advantages for delivering “Triple-Play” services over copper. By providing a superior technology compared to other semiconductors, Rim Semi expects to offer telephone companies a 50% reduction in the cost of building and operating a network, and also a better grade of video over IP. Rim Semi further believes that it can offer equipment makers significant cost savings in their product lines by integrating adjunct features like voice over internet protocol (VoIP) that were previously obtainable only with standalone circuitry. Together, these features will enable telcos to aggressively compete for the cable TV subscriber.

The Company’s product demonstration suite will be available at:
