NeoEdge Networks Appoints Content Delivery Pioneer As Strategic Alliance Vice President

PALO ALTO, Calif., March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- NeoEdge Networks, bringing the new world of digital entertainment delivery and promotion, today announced the appointment of Preetish Nijhawan as vice president of strategic alliances. At NeoEdge, Preetish will lead the development of the company's most important partnerships and distribution relationships. As one of the co-founders of Akamai Technologies, Mr. Nijhawan brings tremendous industry knowledge and experience to the NeoEdge Team.

Most recently Mr. Nijhawan was a vice president at BMC Software and prior to that he was a co-founder and vice president at iVita Corporation, and was a consultant for McKinsey and Company. Before co-founding Akamai in 1998, he also spent 6 years at Intel Corporation in engineering and management roles. Mr. Nijhawan has a Bachelors Degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India, a Masters Degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
