AttachmateWRQ Acquires OnDemand Software, Inc.

AttachmateWRQ announced today that it has completed the acquisition of OnDemand Software, Inc. of Bonita Springs, Fla. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
OnDemand Software develops software management and distribution solutions for small, medium and enterprise IT environments. One of the pioneers in the field of Microsoft Installer (MSI) application packaging and distribution, OnDemand's offerings include the award-winning WinINSTALL(TM) product family which is deployed at over 5,000 companies worldwide.

Several OnDemand executives now join AttachmateWRQ. Mel Raff, OnDemand chairman and executive vice president of product operations, becomes product unit manager, desktop management. Jack Palmer, OnDemand president and CEO, becomes manager of desktop management services.
AttachmateWRQ, the result of the merging of Attachmate Corp. and WRQ, Inc. in 2005, emerges as a leader in multi-host access, integration, security and desktop management. OnDemand customers including Bon Secours Hospitals, Canada Customs and Revenue, the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. General Services Administration join AttachmateWRQ's 40,000-strong customer base.
