Cloudmark Taps Bassam Khan for Top Marketing Role

SAN FRANCISCO, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Messaging security leader Cloudmark Inc. announced today that 17-year industry veteran Bassam Khan has joined the company to lead its continued growth in the service provider market. Khan, most recently vice president of Products at Venturi Wireless, the world's largest provider of 3G broadband optimization, will head inbound and outbound marketing programs at Cloudmark, identifying technological, regional, and new solutions opportunities for the company's service provider business.

Khan has a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in the telecommunications and enterprise industries. His related experience includes senior director of strategic and product marketing at Portal Software where he helped grow the company from an early-stage startup to the premiere telecommunications billing company. Khan has also held product management positions at Oracle Corporation and IT management at Wellington Management Company.
