A new online service from Edit.com gives businesses the capability of do-it-yourself editing to update sites. Its custom work services can also provide advice and expertise on advanced updates. "We're like a service station for [Web sites]," said Steve Grushcow, founder and CEO of Edit.com. "We provide an online do-it- yourself service for customers to make site changes themselves and experts when they need someone to take a look under the hood." The online service works with an existing Web site to let the owner add new pages or change text, links, images, and PayPal payment gateways.
