Toshiba Wins Product of the Year Award
IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 6, 2004–Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Solutions Division (Toshiba DSD) today announced that its Strata CTX100-S digital business communication system has been named 2003 Product of the Year Award by Internet Telephony magazine. Providing small enterprises with a robust, turnkey telecommunication system, the Strata CTX100-S supports up to 16 ports in a mix-and-match configuration of CO lines, IP, digital, and analog stations. The award will be highlighted in the January 2004 issue of Internet Telephony magazine.
“We’re very proud to have our Toshiba Strata CTX100-S win the 2003 Product of the Year Award from Internet Telephony magazine,” said Michael E. Durance, vice president and general manager of Toshiba Digital Solutions Division. “The Strata CTX100-S beats all the competitive offerings for the small enterprise, giving users all of the features and functionality found in Toshiba’s bigger systems, including IP, networking, and voice processing capabilities. These capabilities make the Strata CTX100-S the perfect solution for a small business that plans to stay small, grow, or network with other offices.”
Greg Galitzine, editorial director of Internet Telephony magazine said, “We chose Toshiba’s Strata CTX100-S for the 2003 Product of the Year Award because in addition to delivering ‘big system’ features and functionality to smaller enterprises, it comes with the backing of Toshiba’s reliable service and customer support, its extensive National Accounts program, and the industry’s only seven-year manufacturer’s extended warranty.”
Galitzine added, “The Product of the Year awards exemplify the best that this industry has to offer. Toshiba has demonstrated a commitment to quality and a commitment to the further development of the IP telephony industry through its Strata CTX100-S. Toshiba deserves this great honor, and I look forward to seeing other innovative solutions from them as they continue to contribute to the future of IP telephony, mobility, and other creative solutions.”
The Strata CTX100-S is the only system designed for small enterprises to offer optional integrated Toshiba Stratagy Voice Processing and networking capabilities and is one of a few to offer VoIP at its price point and capability offerings. In addition, as companies grow, the system can easily be upgraded all the way up to the 112-port capacity of the Toshiba Strata CTX100.
