Hispanic Teleservices Corporation Debuts in the Global Services 100
Posted on: Wednesday, 15 March 2006, 06:00 CST
Hispanic Teleservices Corporation (HTC), the leading provider of outsourced customer support for companies serving the Hispanic market, announced today it was named to the 2006 Global Services 100 (formerly known as the Offshore 100) list by neoIT and CMP Media's Global Services magazine. Furthermore, in its debut in the Global Services 100, HTC was also ranked as the only call center provider in the "Top Five Companies to Watch in Latin America" category.
The firms selected by neoIT and Global Services magazine "demonstrated a pattern of market leadership, innovation and outstanding customer service," according to the Global Services announcement where the winners were presented. Effective operations, service offerings, client relationships and human capital were the capabilities sought after in each of the companies considered.
"We are honored to be recognized in the Global Services 100 and as one of the top five companies to watch in Latin America," said Carlos Zapatero, Director of Business Development at HTC. "This continues to validate the call center industry and highlights the importance of a niche provider when servicing the U.S. Hispanic market. Providing a remote office environment allows HTC to deliver quality services to our clients and their U.S. Hispanic customers, one call at a time."
The Global Services 100 list is comprised of the most innovative providers of business and technology services in the world. To determine which companies would make the list, Global Services partnered with neoIT, a consulting firm specializing in services globalization, to collect over 250 data points which were classified into four categories that included general company information, customer data, operational capabilities and human-resource policies. These data points were collected from over 100 respondents from 15 countries around the world, representing the most popular service-delivery destinations, such as Mexico, India, China, the Philippines, CIS and Malaysia.
