Davis Returns to Stampede

Mar. 15--Josh Davis is back with the Idaho Stampede, just in time for the playoffs.
Davis, who averaged 20.9 points and 8.9 rebounds in 14 games with Idaho this season, will be in the lineup when the Stampede open the playoffs at 6:05 p.m. Thursday at Rockford.
Davis, who also played for three NBA teams this season, was the MVP of the CBA while with the Stampede during the 2003-04 season.
The Stampede placed Davis on the inactive list Feb. 20 to be with his wife for the birth of their first child. Davis practiced with the team Tuesday.
The Stampede will play three games in a round-robin format in the opening round of the playoffs.
After Thursday's game in Rockford, they travel to Albany for a 5:35 p.m. game Saturday.
They play their final game of the first round at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday against Gary at Qwest Arena.
