Canadian telecommunications company Telus has announced that it is offering Musiwave’s music download service to its mobile phone subscribers.

Musiwave’s full track download service is available to all CDMA and GSM carriers, and is delivered via the delivery platform ADORA. Musiwave says its mobile music platform currently powers 20 operators’ full track music mobile services globally.

“The handset is evolving into an extension of a subscriber’s personality, and the ability to program it with personalized music and entertainment brings the user experience to a whole new level,” said Nicolas Pelletier, vice president of Musiwave.

“Musiwave has long been a key player in the European and Asian mobile music markets; with Telus, we are entering the North American market with strong proof of our capabilities. Coupled with their new high speed network, Telus is poised to deliver an optimal music and entertainment experience for their customers.”
