Advanced Energy Appoints Robert L. Bratter to the Board of Directors

FORT COLLINS, Colo., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Advanced Energy today announced the appointment of Robert L. Bratter, 59, to the board of directors. Mr. Bratter brings more than 32 years of technology management experience including 25 years in the semiconductor and microelectronics division of IBM. Most recently, he served as chief executive officer of Cronos Integrated Microsystems, where he led the company's 1999 spin off from MCNC, a North Carolina technology incubator, as well as its sale of its optical MEMS division to JDS Uniphase.

He currently serves on the board of directors of Primarion, Inc., Magfusion, Inc., and Canyon Broadband, Inc., all privately held companies.
