Verizon Communications Inc. Unveils New Fiber-Optic Cable TV Service in Howard County

Verizon Communications Inc. unveiled its new fiber-optic cable TV service, called FiOS, in Howard County, and said it will begin taking customer orders immediately

. First to receive the new service will be 11,000 residents in Clarksville, Columbia and Ellicott City. Verizon obtained a local video franchise in Howard County in January.
