Applied Voice & Speech Technologies Inc. (AVST) will feature its innovative unified communications solution at Lotusphere 2004, January 26-28, at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel in Lake Buena Vista (Orlando).

Lotusphere 2004 is a global technology and marketing conference attended by IBM Business Partners and customers. In its eleventh anniversary, Lotusphere 2004 offers information on new products and highlights the latest applications for Lotus software and other IBM technologies and solutions. This high profile event receives executive-level participation from companies around the globe. AVST will demonstrate its industry-leading CallXpress(R) unified messaging, call completion and mobility platform highlighting the user benefits of its integration with Lotus Notes(R) and Domino(TM).

"CallXpress users have enjoyed a tight integration to Lotus Notes and Domino for years. We're excited to demonstrate our continued commitment to this market by bringing speech-enabled call completion and mobility applications to this same IBM Lotus customer community," said Tom Minifie, AVST Vice President of Product Management.

AVST's CallXpress is an enterprise wide solution that organizes each employee's voice, fax, and email in their own Lotus Notes inbox. CallXpress provides access to corporate data and messages via telephone, wireless device, computer, or the Internet by connecting the company's existing business tools -- the LAN, PBX, computer, telephone and Lotus Domino Server. CallXpress also offers users the ability to place calls automatically via the Lotus Notes client, or via the CallXpress LiveReply feature which initiates return calls to message senders.

CallXpress continues to be part of the IBM/Lotus Domino Unified Communications program, delivering a complete solution jointly developed by IBM and AVST.

"With the AVST product set, companies stay in touch with their customers by completing calls in a single attempt, making mobile employees more productive, and generally improving the overall effectiveness of their communication infrastructure," added Minifie.
